Now, there is Invisalign.
Consider Invisalign to get the beautiful straight teeth you’ve always wanted — without braces. A complimentary consultation with our doctor can determine if Invisalign is right for you.
What Is Invisalign?
Invisalign is a braces-alternative that uses clear, removable, and comfortable plastic aligners to place slight pressure on the teeth, moving them into place. These aligners are made specifically for your teeth, so they fit them like a glove, rendering them invisible. Made with 3D imaging technology, they are incredibly accurate and can get you in and out of treatment faster than traditional braces.
Why Would I Want Invisalign?
First, their biggest selling point: they are invisible, giving you control over who knows that you are in treatment. However, they come with other important benefits as well. For example, they are removable for short periods of time each day, allowing you to eat, drink, brush, and floss as you always have. Since they are made from smooth plastic, they do not cause abrasions. And because you change your aligners on your own, you see us less often, making it better on your schedule.
How Does Invisalign Work?
Once they aligners are made, you come to the office and we check the fit of the initial aligners. We then send you home with several sets. You wear each set for two weeks, taking them out only when needed and never having them out for more than two hours a day, preferably less. As you switch to the next set, your teeth move a little more. Eventually, they end up right where they should be. You will see us about once every six weeks.
Invisalign is enjoyed by both teens and adults and is particularly popular with professionals. If you are interested in finding out if Invisalign is right for you, schedule a complimentary consultation.
