Did you know that 100% of orthodontists are also dentists, but only about 6% of dentists are orthodontists? An orthodontist goes through at least 2-3 years of additional education from an accredited orthodontic residency program after completing dental school.
Our very own Dr. Blue has not only completed both, but also has received a Doctorate of Dental Surgery and Prosthodontic Certificate, along with continuing to stay abreast of the industry by attending continuing education seminars, lectures, and more. From the moment you walk into Blue Orthodontics you will feel the passion Dr. Dan Blue has for orthodontics and every patient he treats.
This blog is just another way that Dr. Blue and our team work to help all current, new, and future patients learn about the services we offer, how to care for your braces, orthodontic emergencies, and any other pressing questions you may have before you walk through our doors or while in orthodontic treatment with us.
We’ll be posting regularly about topics you want to know about or common questions/concerns we hear from our patients. Our goal online and in-office is to always make sure you feel comfortable and are happy with the treatment we provide. If you have any questions about your treatment or about braces in general, make sure to ask a member of our team.
Along with being passionate about orthodontics and how we care for our patients, we also strive to support our community and work hard to make sure we contribute whenever we can. Come back to learn about events we’ve sponsored or attended and future events we’ll be at to give back to our community. We truly love this community and will continue to provide support as long as we can!
We’ll sign off from our first post by saying welcome and that we hope this space helps you from the start of your orthodontic treatment and beyond. Welcome to the Blue Family!
