My profession is my passion. I enjoy my job more than anyone I know. As an orthodontist, I have the privilege of creating uninhibited smiles and allowing people to openly, confidently express their happiness.
Orthodontists honestly boost the quality of life of our patients. A smile is the universal symbol for happiness. I love my job more than anyone could imagine because I am able to enhance a person’s confidence to smile more often and more freely. Confident smiles are contagious, so I also have the opportunity to make my patients’ friends and families happier, too!
As for my patients, I truly love each unique human being attached to their transforming smiles. Each person has his or her unique set of quirks and qualities, and learning about these aspects of their personalities is always fun. I love delighting my patients by taking an active interest in their lives. This, in turn, delights me!
I also work with a great team of skilled professionals, making coming into work everyday a pleasure.
Throughout the years I attend orthodontic and oral healthcare meetings, seminars, and lectures, learning from the leaders in the field. By staying abreast of the latest developments in techniques and technology, I am able to ensure my patients have access to the highest level of care available.
As a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association, I have access to the latest research and findings, through their respective publications and journals. This, too, ensures the best care for my patients.
I’m originally from Dallas Texas and Phoenix Arizona has been my home since 2001. My wife Ann is a Periodontist and we have three children, as well as 2 dogs. Our family life keeps me busy, and being with Ann and the children is always my highest priority, especially when we take trips together. Personally, I enjoy off-roading, camping, hunting, and playing my guitar.
Through Blue Orthodontics, I am able to give back to our wonderful community. We donate time, materials, and money to organizations and groups including the Paradise Valley School District, the Madison School District, Saint Francis Xavier, St. Vincent DePaul, and the Knights of Columbus.
At Blue Orthodontics, we strive to treat our patients the same way we would like to be treated: with respect, professionalism, and sensitivity toward your needs. Dr. Dan Blue and our team understand the expectations of the patients and families we serve, and we do everything we can to make sure that each patient has an exceptional experience at our practice. These Core Values are what set us apart and help us create your unforgettable experience!
Blue Orthodontics is committed to continually serving our community. We pride ourselves on being very active within many schools and community events.
We feel that it is critical that local businesses support the community and that is where we have decided to focus our efforts.
We have found that many schools are struggling with providing much needed items or funds for their students and programs. We absolutely LOVE immersing ourselves in those areas. We work closely with many athletic programs and extra curricular activities.
We attend many booster club meetings and PTO meetings and we’ve been asked to join several School Site Councils for Paradise Valley High School, Greenway Middle School and Madison Meadows Middle School. By statute every public school in AZ is required to have a School Council. School Council is an advisory group to the principal. It consists of teachers, classified staff, students, parents and a community member. We are so honored to be part of these councils.
We feel very strongly about helping those in need so we contribute yearly to St. Jude’s and Toys for tots. We also facilitate toy drives for Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
Please feel free to ask us about any of our community or school involvement at your visit. We love discussing our community and the incredible schools within it!
